8/23/06 - Say Hello to the Bad Guy

As you can see, there is a new look to the place. Rob has redesigned the site based on the cover
of the Al Pacino movie, Scarface. It's pretty, no?

There will be more regular updates to the site as well as possibly selling prints in the near future.
Stay tuned for further important changes.

04/29/06 - Navigation/Negotiation (report from a show)

On April 27th, the show opened. The festivities included a gallery opening and a lot of snooty food.
The show is keyed to artwork by and about disability artists. there was an ASL interpreter on hand, as
well as a visual describer for the blind. There is a full report here if you want to read
more. there are pictures there too.

The show runs until June 17, so if you are in Chicago you should stop by and check it out. There are multiple
galleries around the city, but my piece Twist is in the Gene Siskel Film Center over by the coffee bar.
(That real estate means I have made it as an artist!)

More information about the show as a whole is at BodiesOfWork.org

03/17/06 - New Layout and a show
Lots of exciting things happening at Johnny Grey HQ since we last talked to
you guys. First, and most obvious is the new layout for the news page. I was
pretty pleased with how it turned out and it looks more professional this way,
I think.

Second, Johnny is going to be in another show, this time in Chicago. Bodies of Work
is a citywide festival of disability themed artwork and culture. Johnny's piece
Twist will be on display along with work by famed artist Riva Lehrer and other members
of the Chicago art community. It's very exciting! The show goes from April 20 – April 30,
and Johnny's piece will be in the Sandor Gallery in the Gene Siskel Film Center. There is
also an artist's reception and gallery tour on April 27th at 5:30 pm.
Come out and show Johnny some love.
